The Shots in Between

“True love and happiness is having that smile on the faces and the look in the eyes even after the camera clicks.”

Last May 16, a month and a half before saying their final “I do”, my soon-to-tie-a-knot friends Peter Morales and Yvette Vasquez, had their serious-slash-sweet-slash-wacky prenuptial photo shoot at Lakeshore, Pampanga.

For most engaged couple today, pre-nup shoot is a prerequisite to the big day, it is a must. As a matter of fact, it’s one of the fun activities the couple looks forward to.

With Lakeshore becoming a popular site for photo shoots, my friends had decided that this would be the place to take the shots.

Lakeshore was an hour drive from Manila. We took the North Luzon Expressway and made an exit at Mexico, Pampanga gateway.

The Lakeshore offers a serene ambiance, greenery surroundings and recreational facilities. It highlights the 12-hectare man-made lake which has its island that can be rented out for exclusive wedding venue.
It also features the Lighthouse which is one of Lakeshore’s main attractions.

It was almost 9:00 AM when we arrived at Lakeshore. Together with the couple was another friend, Mary Jane Vitug, who had been Yvette’s stylist, Kuya Ericson, the official photographer, while I became the UNofficial photographer taking the shots in between.

And here are the unofficial photographer's in between shots.

It was a nine-long-hour photo session, we were the first batch to arrive at the location and the last to leave, but you can never be tired if you do it with the people you care much, right?
